Anna Kendrick will be stepping into the director’s chair for the first time with a thrilling new project based on the real-life horror story of Cheryl Bradshaw, a contestant on the 1970s show The Dating Game. In the movie, Kendrick will also produce and portray Bradshaw, who unknowingly chose Rodney Alcala, a charming bachelor on the show who turned out to be a dangerous serial killer. Alcala, who was convicted of multiple murders in the ’70s and passed away last year in prison, became infamous as the Dating Game Killer for his chilling appearances on the popular matchmaking series.
