Staying fit doesn’t have to mean going to the gym and lifting weights every day. Different things work for different people: boxing (check out all the benefits of boxing for women), running (here are our tips for getting started), attending group classes (these are the gym classes that burn the most calories), skating, playing racket sports… Everyone has their own preferences, and since the ultimate goal is to enjoy exercise, it’s important to find what makes us happiest.
Emma Watson, for example, does strength training with her trainer Emily Drew, according to Delish, but she also enjoys cardiovascular activities like walking (yes, you can lose weight by walking) or, in her free time, playing racket sports. The 32-year-old actress surprised everyone this summer when she was “caught” by photographers playing paddle tennis in Ibiza while on vacation.

But it was last September that she participated in a Pickleball tournament (a sport that combines tennis, badminton, and table tennis), where, although she admitted she “didn’t bring home the trophy,” she had a great time. The conclusion? The combination of Emma Watson + a racket, no matter the sport, is always a positive one.
Dressed in a sporty outfit that, we admit, looks very good on her, the actress had former professional boxer Sugar Ray Leonard as her tournament partner. And they definitely had a great time!
You just have to see the ear-to-ear smiles everyone has. Perhaps next time, Emma Watson will have the courage to try tennis or badminton, who knows.
